This cinematic background profoundly influences her photography style, bringing a sense of drama, emotion, and authenticity to every image she creates.

In addition to her work in film, Sarina has made her mark in the publishing world. Her dedication to creating art that captures the essence of her clients’ stories ensures that each photograph becomes a cherished memory, preserved for generations to come.

She spent 10 years in the picturesque Karoo, where the vast landscapes and golden light inspired much of her artistry. Her broadcast work includes being a camera operator and Director of Photography (DOP) Trainee on Kniediep in die Warm Water — a 12-episode drama sitcom for SABC 2, and notably the first drama series ever produced in the Eastern Cape. As a trainee under Dirk Mostert, she gained invaluable experience in the craft of cinematography.

She went on to serve as Director of Photography, Camera Operator, and Stills Photographer on Slice of Light, a 12-episode series for Issues of Faith on SABC 2.
